Texas Style Beef BBQ

An easy slow-cooker take on Texas barbecue — roll a roast in your favorite rub, slow cook until it pulls apart, then toss in barbecue sauce. Serve on a bun with coleslaw or your favorite backyard side.
Ingredients
- 1 beef roast
- Your favorite BBQ rub
- 1 beer of your choice (or about 2 cups beef stock)
- Your favorite BBQ sauce
- Buns and coleslaw, to serve
Instructions
- Roll the roast in your favorite BBQ rub and brown on all sides in a pan.
- Add to your slow cooker and cover with the beer or beef stock (about 2 cups).
- Slow cook for 8 hours, until the meat is tender and pulls apart.
- Take the meat out, place it in a bowl, and toss in your favorite BBQ sauce.
- Reheat and enjoy on a bun with coleslaw or your favorite backyard side.
