Blackstone Sausage Biscuits with Pimento Cheese and Jam

Blackstone Sausage Biscuits with Pimento Cheese and Jam

Six sausage biscuits cooked fast on the Blackstone: Whitt's Place sausage patties with a golden crust, nestled into warm biscuits with Dutch Treat pimento cheese and a dollop of Michael's strawberry jalapeño jam. Equal parts savory and sweet, and gone before you know it.

This is the kind of meal that comes together quicker than you'd think — especially if you've got biscuits ready or use a good frozen one. Each biscuit gets a sausage patty, a spoonful of pimento cheese, and a dollop of jam. The magic is in the contrast: the richness of the pimento cheese, the sweetness and heat of the jam, and the savory bite of the sausage all hit at once. The sausage gets a proper sear on the Blackstone, so it's got crust and flavor, not just cooked through.

Ingredients

Blackstone Sausage Biscuits with Pimento Cheese and Jam
  • 6 Whitt's Place sausage patties (one pack)
  • Butter for the Blackstone
  • 6 warm biscuits
  • 1 cup Dutch Treat pimento cheese (or your favorite)
  • 6 Tbsp Michael's strawberry jalapeño jam
  • Flaky salt

Instructions

Blackstone Sausage Biscuits with Pimento Cheese and Jam
  1. Fire up the Blackstone: Preheat your Blackstone or griddle to medium-high. Once it's hot, add a little butter.
  2. Cook the sausage: Lay the sausage patties on the griddle and leave them alone — let them sear undisturbed until they get a deep brown crust on one side, about 4–5 minutes. Flip and sear the other side until cooked through and browned, another 3–4 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Build each biscuit: Take one warm biscuit half. Layer it this way: biscuit, then sausage patty, then a spoonful of pimento cheese, then a dollop of jam on top.
  4. Serve: Finish each with a pinch of flaky salt and serve hot.

Tips

  • Don't flip the sausage early: Let it sit on the heat so it builds that crust. That's where the flavor is.
  • Biscuits: Fresh biscuits are best, but a quality frozen one works great if you're short on time. Warm them just before serving.
  • The jam: Michael's strawberry jalapeño has just enough heat to balance the sweetness — it sneaks up on you and pairs perfectly with the sausage and cheese.
  • One per patty: Six sausage patties, six biscuits. It's a simple ratio that comes together fast.

That's it — six sausage biscuits, finished in about 15 minutes. Stop by Whitt's Place for fresh Whitt's Place sausage patties, Dutch Treat pimento cheese, and Michael's strawberry jalapeño jam.
